Ted
Whoever said goldfish lack the brainpower to remember anything longer than 3 seconds never met Ted. He's a supergenius whose endless stream of ideas and inventions are usually the launching pad for the tank crew's adventures (and the way they survive them after things go terribly wrong). The only thing to match his intelligence is his unfailingly positive outlook. Think MacGyver.

Angelo
On the surface, Angelo seems a little self-absorbed and timid. Dig a little deeper, though, and you'll find he's a complete narcissist with a volcanic temper. His tantrums are typically set off by the tiniest slight against angelfish, which he considers to be the pinnacle of all things great. He is a very loyal friend to Ted, which is why even though he often doubts the wisdom of Ted's exploits, he doesn't voice his concerns very loudly.

Hoover
Anytime you're visiting a pet store, look at the card describing the plecostomus. It always talks about how you can put them in a tank with most any other fish. Don't be fooled into thinking that this means they're placid and kind, though. In fact, none of the other fish want to be around the pleco because they're so anti-social, and that suits someone like Hoover just fine. He'd like nothing better than to be left alone since he's only loyal to himself anyway.
